Ini adalah tempat ibadah yang ke-3 dikunjungi, setelah Tempat Ibadah Tri Dharma (TITD) dan Vihara.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kunjungan ke Gereja Katolik Paroki Kristus Raja, Genteng, Banyuwangi dilaksanakan pada Jumat (28\/07). Tim Eco Bhinneka dan Among disambut hangat oleh Pastor Gereja, Romo Adhi dan Romo Darmanto, bapak Yoseph Sumiyatna selaku tokoh agama Katolik, dan Orang Muda Katolik, ada Ignas, Adit, dan Santi.<\/p>\n<p>Windarti, regional manager Eco Bhinneka Banyuwangi memperkenalkan Eco Bhinneka kepada Pastor dan Orang Muda Katolik yang belum mengenal Eco Bhinneka. Bahwasanya Eco Bhinneka adalah sebuah program dari Muhammadiyah dengan isu kerukunan antarumat beragama dan pelestarian lingkungan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Eco Bhinneka selain bekerja sama dengan lintas agama juga mempunyai sekolah dampingan, yakni SMK Muhammadiyah 8 Siliragung dan desa dampingan, yaitu Desa Glagahagung, \u201cBesok di Balai Desa Glagahagung akan diadakan festival budaya Eco Bhinneka,\u201d tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p>Eco Bhinneka yang berlangsung selama 5 (lima) tahun ini, akan berakhir pada 2025. Untuk itu dibentuk sebuah komunitas yang diberi nama Among (Anak Muda Eco Bhinneka Blambangan). Among terdiri dari pemuda dan perempuan lintas agama dan lintas komunitas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Harapannya Among dapat meneruskan praktik baik Eco Bhinneka dalam merawat kerukunan dan melestarikan lingkungan. Selanjutnya Romo Adhi menerangkan, di Gereja Katolik Paroki Kristus Raja, Genteng, Banyuwangi ada 2 (dua) Romo yaitu Romo Adhi (Kepala Pastor) yang merupakan seorang seniman dan Romo Darmanto yang ahli dalam bidang menulis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDengan adanya Eco Bhinneka, semangat kebersamaan semakin kuat dan dapat memperluas persaudaraan,\u201d ucap pak Yos, sapaan akrab dari pak Yoseph.<\/p>\n<p>Gereja Katolik Paroki Kristus Raja, Genteng merupakan salah satu dari 4 (empat) Gereja Katolik yang ada di Banyuwangi.. Gereja Katolik Paroki Kristus Raja diresmikan pada 2020 dan merupakan gereja paling unik di Blambangan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bangunan gereja ini mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai pemenang arsitektur terbaik bangunan keagamaan sosial. Ventilasi udara gereja diatur dengan baik, sehingga bisa tetap sejuk, tanpa AC. Gereja Katolik hanya memiliki 1 (satu) pimpinan yaitu Paus Fransiskus.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami menerapkan prinsip bahwa gereja harus membangun satu paguyuban umat Allah. Umat harus berpartisipasi mewujudkan Gereja yang ramah lingkungan dan berinteraksi dengan baik antar sesama manusia,\u201d tutur Romo Adhi.<\/p>\n<p>Romo Adhi menjelaskan bahwasanya ada program kerja jangka panjang selama 3 (tiga) tahun, di antaranya adalah \u201cGereja Rumah Kita\u201d yang berarti rumah ini tidak hanya milik umat Katolik.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDatanglah ke rumah kami. Setiap umat harus mempunyai rasa memiliki tempat ini,\u201d lanjut Romo Adhi.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Romo Adhi berharap kerukunan umat beragama di Banyuwangi terjalin solid melalui budaya dan kearifan lokal. Budaya dan kearifan lokal ini harus dijaga dan jangan sampai bergeser maknanya.<\/p>\n<p>Gereja Katolik Paroki Kristus Raja memiliki program kerja ramah lingkungan yaitu pengolahan pupuk kandang dengan tujuan pemberdayaan umat, peningkatan ekonomi umat, dan pemanfaatan limbah kotoran kambing yang berada di Desa Sugih Waras.
